TAILWHEEL ENDORSEMENT

Experience
grassroots flying

Tailwheel training develops precise directional control, energy management, and attentive takeoff and landing technique.

01

Understand the differences

Ground training covers tailwheel aerodynamics, taxi technique, wind correction, directional control, and the habits that keep each phase of flight deliberate.

02

Fly the airplane precisely

Practice takeoffs, approaches, landings, and go-arounds while learning how small control inputs and changing surface conditions affect the aircraft.

03

Make winter an asset

Central Wisconsin offers a distinctive seasonal environment. Ski flying is subject to suitable snow, ice conditions, and weather.
